Terms and Conditions

The terms for using the UPTA website and the district association portal.

Last updated 17 October 2026

About These Terms

These terms apply to this website and to the district association portal, run by the Uttar Pradesh Taekwondo Association (UPTA), 144/19/2 Gwynne Tank, Aminabad, Lucknow 226018. By using them you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy and our Payment and Refund Policy.

Information on the Website

We publish information about the association, events, circulars and affiliated bodies in good faith and try to keep it correct and up to date. Event dates, venues and rules can change: the official circular for an event is the final word, and its latest version applies.

District Association Accounts

  • Portal accounts are given only to district associations affiliated to UPTA, using the association's official email address.
  • The association must keep its password and email account secure and is responsible for everything done from its account. Tell the office straight away if you think someone else has used it.
  • Details entered for training centres and players must be true and complete, and must be entered with the consent of the people concerned (for a player under 18, their parent or guardian).
  • Access stops automatically when the association's affiliation expires or the association is made inactive, and UPTA may suspend an account that is misused.

Registrations and Approvals

Training centres and players registered through the portal are checked and approved by the UPTA office, which may return an application for correction, reject it or later suspend it, giving its reason. UPTA numbers, player ID cards and certificates remain UPTA's documents and are valid only while the registration or affiliation is active.

Affiliation

Affiliation runs year by year. The fees, the length of the affiliation year and the grace period for renewal are set by UPTA and shown in the district portal. An affiliation that is not renewed by the end of the grace period expires, and the association becomes inactive until it renews. Payments are covered by our Payment and Refund Policy.

Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • give false information or register a person without their (or their guardian's) consent;
  • try to see or change records that are not yours, or get round the security of the website;
  • upload anything unlawful, offensive or harmful, including malicious software;
  • copy the website's content or data in bulk, or use the contact form to send spam.

Names, Logos and Content

The UPTA name, logo, photographs and content on this website belong to UPTA and may not be reused without its written permission, except for sharing a link or a short quotation with credit. The logos of other organisations shown on the website belong to those organisations and are shown only to identify them.

Liability

The website and the portal are provided as they are. UPTA works to keep them available and accurate but cannot promise that they will always be uninterrupted or free of errors, and is not liable for indirect loss arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
